For an abandoned teenage mother, rebuilding a future requires more than words of encouragement. It requires practical opportunities, supportive relationships, and the chance to develop skills that can contribute to greater independence.
Through the Restored Hope for Teenage Mothers Program, F SSIBU Mission Foundation is working with more than 120 teenage mothers in Ksmuli, Mwanyagiri, Kirinya, and surrounding communities. Our goal is to help young mothers move beyond survival and begin building sustainable futures for themselves and their children.
We provide mentorship, counselling, reproductive health education, and family engagement while creating opportunities for practical skills development. Tailoring, hairdressing, electrical skills, craft making, and modern farming can give young mothers practical abilities that may open doors to entrepreneurship or employment.
We understand that every young mother has different circumstances. Some need emotional support and acceptance, while others need training materials, childcare assistance, or opportunities to restart their education. Our approach therefore seeks to respond to the broader barriers affecting their lives.
Donor support is essential to expanding these opportunities. Contributions can help us reach more young mothers with training, mentorship, reproductive health information, and livelihood support.
When a young mother becomes equipped with a practical skill, she gains more than knowledge—she gains another possibility for independence. Your partnership can help us equip abandoned teenage mothers to create better lives and provide stronger futures for their children.
