Restoring hope is not only about helping a young mother overcome today’s challenges. It is about creating a pathway toward a future where she can make decisions, earn a livelihood, care for her child, and participate meaningfully in her community.
Through the Restored Hope for Teenage Mothers Program, F SSIBU Mission Foundation seeks to support more than 120 teenage mothers who have experienced challenges connected to early pregnancy, school dropout, abandonment, and limited economic opportunities.
Our long-term approach combines mentorship, counselling, family engagement, reproductive health education, vocational training, and livelihood preparation. We want young mothers to have opportunities to develop skills that can become foundations for entrepreneurship, employment, or further training.
Whether a young woman chooses tailoring, hairdressing, electrical skills, crafts, or modern farming, the objective is to help her develop practical capabilities that can contribute to greater self-reliance.
Sustainable change takes time. It requires consistent encouragement, training resources, supportive relationships, and opportunities to put newly acquired skills into practice. This is where committed donors become essential partners.
Your contribution can help provide the resources needed to train and mentor more teenage mothers, support their children, and strengthen pathways toward independence.
A young mother’s story should not end with abandonment. With the right opportunities and sustained support, she can continue learning, developing skills, caring for her child, and building a future shaped by possibility.
