Teenage motherhood can change a young girl’s life suddenly, often leaving her facing stigma, interrupted education, financial hardship, and uncertainty about her future. At F SSIBU Mission Foundation, we believe that becoming a mother should not mean losing the opportunity to dream, learn, and build a better life.
Through our Restoring Hope for Teenage Mothers program, we are supporting vulnerable teenage mothers with counseling, mentorship, life skills, sexual and reproductive health education, and practical livelihood opportunities. We create safe spaces where young mothers can discuss their experiences, rebuild confidence, and begin planning for a more secure future for themselves and their children.
We also work with families and communities to encourage acceptance and reduce the stigma that can isolate teenage mothers. Where possible, girls are connected to skills training such as tailoring, hairdressing, crafts, farming, and other income-generating activities.
Donor support makes it possible to reach young mothers who might otherwise remain trapped in poverty and dependence. Contributions can help provide training materials, mentorship, essential household support, and opportunities for girls to develop sustainable livelihoods.
Every teenage mother deserves a second chance.
When you support this program, you are not simply helping a young woman recover from a difficult experience. You are helping her regain confidence, develop skills, care for her child, and imagine a future beyond poverty and stigma.
Together, we can restore hope, dignity, and opportunity—one young mother at a time.
