Becoming a mother as a teenager can dramatically change a girl’s life, but it does not have to determine her future. With the right support, a young mother can regain confidence, acquire skills, rebuild relationships, and create a better future for herself and her child.
F SSIBU Mission Foundation created the Restoring Hope for Teenage Mothers program to provide that second chance.
We work with vulnerable teenage mothers through counselling, mentorship, family acceptance initiatives, health and reproductive education, vocational training, livelihood development, and community support. Our goal is to help each young mother move from vulnerability toward stability, dignity, and independence.
We support girls to explore practical skills such as tailoring, hairdressing, electrical work, modern farming, poultry keeping, and other income-generating opportunities. We also encourage families to become part of the solution by supporting young mothers rather than rejecting them.
Donors make this transformation possible. Contributions can help provide training equipment, learning materials, agricultural inputs, counselling, health referrals, livelihood resources, and essential support for mothers and their children.
The impact goes far beyond one girl. When a teenage mother becomes economically empowered, her child gains greater access to food, education, healthcare, protection, and a hopeful future.
Your support can help turn a difficult beginning into a new chapter.
Together, we can restore hope, rebuild dignity, and help teenage mothers become confident women who can shape a brighter future for themselves, their children, and their communities.
