For a teenage mother living in poverty, having a skill can be the beginning of independence. Many young mothers have left school early and have no reliable source of income, making it difficult to provide food, healthcare, clothing, and education for their children.
Through Restoring Hope for Teenage Mothers, F SSIBU Mission Foundation helps vulnerable young mothers discover practical pathways toward economic independence. We provide opportunities to learn skills such as tailoring, hairdressing, crafts, modern agriculture, poultry farming, and other locally relevant livelihood activities.
Our goal is not simply to train girls, but to help them turn knowledge into opportunity. With the right equipment, mentorship, and starter support, a trained young mother can begin earning an income and gradually reduce her dependence on others.
Donor support can provide training materials, sewing machines, agricultural inputs, poultry resources, business guidance, and other tools needed to help young mothers move from learning to earning.
Every skill learned can become a source of dignity. Every opportunity to earn can strengthen a family. Every empowered mother can give her child a more secure future.
By investing in teenage mothers, donors help address poverty at its roots and create opportunities that can benefit generations.
Together, we can help young mothers build livelihoods, support their children, and believe in their ability to create a better future.
