Yusufari LGA Yobe State of Nigeria, we have identified a ward with Communities population of over 50 communities and more than 20,000 people living in the are, but unfortunately there is no existing primary School in these Communities.
Our organization have succeeded by creating awareness to the community people which the people have agreed to send in their children to their neighboring Local Governmet for primary Schooling.
Our organization have also supported the identified Children who were enrolled to primary School with School kit's and support the caregivers with non-food items.
The Challenges
The Children need more support as mostly their families are poor they will possibly drop out of the school if action did not taking
There is high level of illiteracy in the Communities
Child trafficking from the Communities to Libya
Child labour is always increase because their land is not fertile enough for farming
