1. Introduction

This report aims to inform our partners, donors, and stakeholders about the current situation regarding the implementation of the projects planned by Appui Solidaire pour le Renforcement de l'Aide au Développement (ASRAD Mali) during the 01/01/2025 TO –06/10/2025 period.

2. Funding situation

Despite active efforts and numerous initiatives to mobilize resources:

Submission of proposals to bilateral and multilateral partners,

Participation in various calls for projects,

Engagement with private sector partners,

to date, we have not secured any effective funding for the planned projects.

No firm financial commitments have been confirmed, despite some expressions of interest and letters of intent. Current budgetary constraints among partners and the highly competitive international funding landscape have significantly limited available opportunities.

3. Consequences

As a direct result:

No field activities have been implemented.

The intended beneficiaries in the target communities could not be reached as planned.

The project team remains mobilized but is awaiting financial support to proceed with project implementation.

4. Conclusion and next steps

ASRAD Mali remains fully committed to its mission and continues to actively seek funding to enable project implementation. We are pursuing advocacy and partnership-building efforts.

We hope to resume project activities as soon as appropriate funding becomes available
