Homeless but Not Forgotten: Our Path to Saving Dog

By Elena Kenesova | Project Leader

Stray animals are forced to fight for survival, facing the cold, hunger, and disease. We cannot simply walk past them, because we know that even a single act of kindness can change a life.

We started small—treating the fur of dozens of dogs, protecting them from parasites. For them, it was not just a procedure, but the first step toward a more comfortable life, free from itching, infections, and constant discomfort.

But care is not only about physical help. We want people to understand that dogs also feel, they also suffer. That’s why we created comics that tell the stories of these animals. They explain why sterilization is not cruelty, but salvation. Why letting dogs roam freely is dangerous not only for them but also for others. And how aggression in dogs can be prevented.

When our volunteers distributed leaflets, people stopped to read and ask questions. One elderly woman said, "I have always felt sorry for these poor dogs, but I never knew how to help. Now I understand that sterilization is their chance."

Each of these small steps is a path toward a future without pain or fear. We dream of the day when there will be no more stray dogs in Talgar, when each of them will have protection, warmth, and love.

This path is not easy; it requires time and effort. But when we see a frightened dog begin to trust, when people start to understand the problem, we realize that all of this matters.

And we will keep going, because no living creature should be forgotten.

Our work is impossible without your support. Every contribution is a chance for a new life for homeless animals. Help us continue rescuing stray animals, educating the community, and making our world a kinder place.

You are the key to change. We ask you to stay with us and support us in this important mission.
