"ACAPULCO: A PARADISE REBORN"

By Noemi Lopez Perez | Project Leader

"ACAPULCO: A PARADISE REBORN"

When Hurricane Otis hit, it took so much in a single night. Homes, livelihoods, and the sense of safety that families had always known were swept away, leaving behind destruction, chaos, and deep uncertainty.

But Acapulco did not give up, and neither did the people who love it.

It has been the honor of our lives to stand beside this community as it rebuilt. From the very first minute, our volunteers gave their time, their strength, and their hearts. We are endlessly grateful to them, to the national and international organizations that worked hand in hand with us, to the local authorities, and above all to the people of Acapulco, who faced their darkest days with courage, passion, and joy.

This is a place of soft sandy beaches, warm waters, delicious food, and some of the warmest people you will ever meet. We invite you to come see it for yourself. Visiting Acapulco is one of the most powerful ways to keep its recovery going, because every visit helps create jobs and brings families closer to stability.

Our volunteer work there has come to an end, but our commitment to its people never will.

Thank you for standing with us. Because of your generosity, we were able to be there in the moments of greatest need, and we carry that with us always.

Rebuilding takes time, and there is still so much to do. We invite you to keep walking this road with us, because with your continued support, we can keep turning hope into lasting change for the people of Acapulco
