Fund Chiricli spread humanitarian aid in Odessa region in Ukraine. Thus, mediators delivered warm blankets, warm jackets, hygienic products, rubber mattresses and wood burning stoves to Roma people. In general, 200 Roma people (Roma, Roma children and Roma with disabilities) received humanitarina aid. There are photos which show that Roma people were very happy to receive this aid in the time of war. It was because state administrations did not provide any state humanitarian aid to Roma settlements. A reason of this is direct discrimination of Roma people.
Because of the war, some of the Roma people were afraid to be on photos. Thus, mediators of Fund Chiricli could not make more photos. Elderly Roma and Roma with disabilities even cried because of happiness. They were very grateful Fund Chiricli and GlobalGiving Fund for this aid. Some of them told:” Please pass our thanks, respect and love to donor - GlobalGiving Fund for this important aid”.
