This project will meet the initial recovery needs of the most destitute of families who have been devastated by Hurricane Dorian. The needs are overwhelming and we are doing all we can. Items included in each shipment can be: nonperishable ready to eat foods, baby and children's supplies, personal hygiene products, new bedding, disinfectants, cleaning supplies, garbage bags, building supplies and so much more. ... Jezreel has sent 12 shipments of aid to date with 5 more in preparation.
Hurricane Dorian devastated the Bahamas.
Jezreel provides desperately needed relief aid items. Most if not all the aid items are in stock at our warehouse ready to go pending paying for the freight costs. The value of one container can be up to and exceed 100,000 USD. It only costs 5,000 USD to prepare and ship the container.
The long term impact is to see the Bahamians recover and start again as the impact was so devastating. To recover and live a healthier, happier life and to increase their quality of life and well being after being devastated by the hurricane.
