Thank you for standing with communities rebuilding after Hurricane Helene.
Nearly two years later, the work of recovery continues. Across the Southeast, people are rebuilding homes, restoring livelihoods, and finding new ways to care for one another. Your support has helped communities move forward and continues to fuel recovery efforts in the region.
Thanks to your generosity, $1.2 million dollars have reached 13 community-led organizations through24 grants. These grants became practical action: providing emergency shelter, food, supplies, and direct financial assistance. Now, newer rounds of grants are being funneled into longer-term efforts: rebuilding homes, restoring local businesses, and strengthening the local networks that help local residents define recovery on their own terms.
Recovery is a long-term process, and our nonprofit partners continue to show us what it means to move forward—one step, one project, and one act of care at a time.

The Hurricane Helene Relief Fund evolved alongside communities as their needs changed. It moved gracefully from supporting immediate relief efforts to investing in the long-term work of rebuilding homes, restoring livelihoods, and strengthening local resilience—which is only possible because of the steady support this fund received from caring people like you.
While this marks the final report from the Hurricane Helene Relief Fund, the organizations you've supported will continue walking alongside their communities for years to come.

Because the status quo—which gives the vast majority of funding to a few large organizations—doesn’t make sense.
