Term three was packed with special moments and lots of learning and growth for Dreamers.
A highlight was seeing Dreamers of all ages step into hosting roles during the Visitor Open Day as well as the Magnolia Gardens Fundraising Open Days. Held over four weekends in August at the stunning garden of our generous hosts, Catherine and Dave Davies-Colley, the event raised over $13,500 to support our kaupapa.
Now we have a full crew of Navigators onboard and a new National Fundraising Manager, we're all set to deliver our kaupapa with even greater strength, unity and aroha.

Classic MG Project success at Auction
Students at Tikipunga High School's Automotive Trades Academy spent three years restoring a classic MG, generously donated by long-time supporter Dave Cotty. After the project was complete the MG was successfully sold at auction for $28,000, with all proceeds going to back to the school and I Have a Dream.

Unplugged Programme
Each Tuesday, a group of senior Dreamers get up at dawn to head outdoors to a beautiful spot where they begin the day grounded, supported, and ready to take on whatever comes next.

Jason Turuwhenua is our new Year 7 Navigator. His experience in the education sector includes working alongside children with severe behaviour issues, which he brings to the role to help rangatahi develop better emotional awareness and regulation.
