At ACDI, we are committed to ensuring that each person can achieve their full potential in every aspect of their life. To do so, we implement territorial approaches that respect the uniqueness and specificities of each individual and their community.
As we accompany families in their pursuit of strategies to achieve food sovereignty, we work together to design action plans that outline the most suitable path for each family.
Initially, we visit vulnerable families to understand their needs, concerns, strengths, and experiences. Many families had agroecological gardens but, for various reasons, gradually abandoned their cultivation activities.
Our territorial promoters encourage these families to resume food self-production activities to improve their food security.
We utilize the technological support provided by the Kokue App, which offers technical assistance at each stage of crop management.
When we see families beginning to harvest their first vegetables, we witness the empowerment that reemerges within them, making them active agents in improving their quality of life.
