Nigeria as big as it,s has no home for abandoned widows and destitute women, these women have no one to care for them are mostly labeled as witches, those are not stoned or beaten to death through jungle justice ended up living in the street & begging for survival. ife ooye elegant women association has built a home & providing shelter, clothing, food, & health for 100 widows& disenfranchised women in ile ife , your donation will help to extend these service& provide dignity & healthy living
many elderly women in Nigeria suffer from poverty, isolation & social exclusion particularly elderly widowed women are often denied the basic right such as food & health care, they are labeled witches, & thrown out of their homes by their families Thousand of aged widows congregate in Nigeria streets where they spend the rest of their lives in austerity, begging for food & living in hovels with no electricity & running water. this project seeks to restore dignity in their lives
Ife Ooye Elegant women association old age home offers a safe, hygienic & comfortable home for 100 elderly widowed women in ile ife . it provides the essential life including daily meal, nutritional supplement, clothing, & health care, Moreover, it will facilitate skill development, income generation & secure citizenship rights & government-provided benefits, Ife ooye elegant women association also ensures the widow mothers dignity in death through conducting their last rites with the religious
Our project will provide 100 aged women shelter within a supportive & comfortable environment. And provide an additional 100 widows meals, health supplements & enabling access to general & multispeciality healthcare. These women will be able to lead healthier lives In addition, the project will help increase their socio-eco omic independence by facilitating rights & opportunities for vocational training skill enhancement & employment.
