Across the education systems in Bulgaria today, teachers face a familiar challenge. Educational reforms are announced, new curricula are proposed, and expectations change rapidly. Yet when these reforms fail to materialize or remain incomplete, teachers are often left navigating uncertainty. Over time, this can weaken motivation and push educators toward routine and inertia rather than innovation.
JUMP Math program offers a different path, a one that restores confidence both for teachers and students.
What makes JUMP Math different?
The JUMP Math methodology combines insights from cognitive science with practical classroom strategies. Instead of overwhelming students with complex problems, the approach breaks mathematical concepts into small, carefully sequenced steps, allowing every learner to experience success along the way.
Supporting teachers through training
Teacher training is at the heart of the program. Professional development seminars, workshops, and resources help educators apply the methodology effectively in their classrooms.
A new JUMP Math teacher training program will begin on April 1, providing educators with structured guidance, teaching materials, and practical strategies to help every child succeed in mathematics.
While JUMP Math has already helped thousands of students develop confidence and success in mathematics, many children, especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds. still lack access to high-quality learning materials and supportive teaching approaches.
Your support can help change that.
By supporting the JUMP Math program, donors can help provide:
Together, we can ensure that every child regardless of background has the opportunity to discover their potential in mathematics.
