25 schools, 600 math potentials discovered

By Olga Ninova- Trayanova | Project Leader

The time: knowing by examining the clock
The time: knowing by examining the clock

25 schools joined the JUM Math community this school year. All schools are segregated where students from disadvantaged families and minorities are being though. The schools are small, with few students and limited budgets. Therefore, teachers cannot afford the teaching materials of the methodology unless they are supported by project funding.

For this school year, teachers are seeing the effects of JUMP Math instruction:

  • Students are motivated and eager to attend math classes.
  • They are confidently exploring the world of the language of mathematics and are finding it meaningful to apply mathematical skills to solve a variety of real-world cases.
  • Teachers receive detailed didactic guidance on how to lead their students into mathematical exploration.
  • With the support of our team, teachers implement interesting and engaging math events and challenges with students.
  • They receive regular methodological support with class visits and professional development webinars.
  • All new educators in the program are willing to recommend the methodology to their colleagues.

To continue to develop children's mathematical potential, we need your support. Thank you for continuing to support us!
