In addition to the regular activities that the teenagers do in the 8 partner elementary schools, they have also been doing puppet theatre shows, games en incentivising reading in other public spaces.
We believe it to be very important to offer activities in spaces like public parks because in this way we not only reach the children but also their parents and friends who then have the opportunity to have different experiences together with the children.
As far as the teenagers are concerned, it is an opportunity to take art to the community and make a political statement as to its importance as well as disseminating the importance of improving social relations which is explored using the story lines from the puppet theatre shows which develop themes around improving relations between people and also of them within the world and with themselves.
