Creation of an inclusive social cafe where people with and without disabilities will work. This is an inclusive space where young people with and without mental disabilities will be able to work together in an inclusive environment and host guests and host seminars and trainings. We are opening a cafe with the support of the Bise Foundation and the Eurasia Foundation, but we lack a little money for furniture and equipment.
The problem is significant; the low level of employment and meaningful employment of young people with mental disabilities and autism hinders the development of an inclusive environment in the workplace. In the cafe, our young people with disabilities will be able to both work and do internships.
Young people with mental disabilities and neurodevelopmental disorders will be able to work, do internships, study, attend social events and a hobby club. People will be able to visit our cafe and see that people with mental disabilities can work and have unlimited opportunities and talents.
Long-term goals include developing inclusive and supported employment in our country, enabling people with severe disabilities to participate in meaningful activities and developing their abilities and skills for independent living.
