Dear Respected Donors,
Season’s Greetings!
We want to highlight a crucial initiative undertaken by CHCS to improve the livelihoods of underprivileged women in Tharparkar, Sindh. Tharparkar is a remote, drought-prone region, where access to basic resources is severely limited. Many women in this area suffer from malnutrition and extreme physical weakness, leading to the birth of malnourished children, who often face life-threatening health issues and high mortality rates.
Despite the urgency of this issue, the project has yet to receive the substantial international support it requires. However, CHCS remains determined to continue the work, thanks to the generous contributions of local donors. The main focus of the project is providing goats to these women, which are a lifeline for their families.
These goats play a vital role in improving nutrition by providing milk, which is essential for both women and children. In addition, goats breed twice a year, offering a sustainable source of income through the sale of their offspring. This allows the women to not only feed their families but also begin to break free from the cycle of poverty.
We appeal to our generous supporters across the globe to help us expand this initiative. With your contributions, we can provide more goats to the women of Tharparkar, improving their nutrition, boosting economic stability, and offering them a chance at a brighter, healthier future.
Your generosity can truly change lives by empowering these women and ensuring a better future for their families. Thank you for your continued support and consideration.
Warm regards,
Dr. Asif Mahmood Jah
