Empowering Women Through Income Generation in Thar
Dear Respected Donors,
Warm greetings.
In Tharparkar, women and children face severe challenges due to poverty and malnutrition. To address this, CHCS introduced an income generation initiative that provides women with goats as a sustainable source of nutrition and income.
Goats supply milk for undernourished mothers and children, while breeding creates long term financial stability. Through this initiative, women gain independence, confidence, and the ability to support their families with dignity.
Vision for 2026
In 2026, CHCS aims to expand this program to reach hundreds more families. Each goat represents more than livestock. It represents opportunity, nourishment, and hope. We invite our global donor community to support this effort and help women secure healthier futures.
