Dear donors, thank you for your donation and for supporting female nurses striving to provide care under difficult conditions. Your contribution helps create financial stability and resilience for these essential workers.
Many female nurses in Nigeria face low wages, irregular pay, and frequent strike disruptions, making it difficult to meet basic needs. Without alternative income sources, some are forced to take unsafe side jobs or consider leaving the profession. This project addresses that challenge by providing practical training in baking, tailoring, small-scale farming, digital health services, and online sales.
The program will train 100 nurses, provide starter kits, and offer mentorship. Participants will also form cooperatives to share resources and strengthen their businesses. By building these skills, nurses can supplement their income, reduce financial stress, and remain committed to patient care.
Currently, the funds raised are not sufficient to begin full project activities. Additional support is needed to cover training materials, starter kits, and mentoring. Your continued support will empower these nurses to achieve economic independence while continuing to serve their communities.
With regards,
Joy Ojochogwu Etubi
