This project will drive towards changing perception towards understanding and acceptance of distinct sexual orientation hence Creating the best relationships with the entire community for LGBMSM freedoms, thus dignity for all. Focusing towards creating a meaningful involvement of the LGBTIQ in policy designing, making, programming and implementation through contributions and participation which has been in absence for decades in Migori county, the county has been a left-back region.
There current several attacks towards gay men and bisexual men in Migori. It is clear that community is still not trusting that human being has self-autonomy on their body, feeling and decisions. Everyone is created in the virtue and image of the Lord and in whichever way one may be living is in the nature of God's desires. People in Migori must start changing their way of seeing and approaching things/issues. Diversity is not a song to sing but requires actions to express it.
Through this project will ensure the community is reached via consolidated forums, most identified perpetrators meetings, village/location leaders and elders are brought to board for changing perception dialogue and radio sessions. As organization we believe this initiative will have great impactful results, one being that it will create room for dialogue and negotiation, which will result in sensitization as well as building understanding on matters of sexuality within the regions.
The project will educate 300 community members,100 perpetrators,200 administrators on dignity for All which will create and improve the meaningful involvement of minorities and well being
