A lot of thanks to our supporters, and here is our latest report on this project.
When conflict escalated along the Cambodia–Thailand border in late 2025, entire communities in Battambang Province were forced to flee. Livelihoods disappeared overnight.
But even amid fear and uncertainty, something powerful endured.
Of the 40 households in our cooperative programme, at least one family member stayed behind, continuing to raise pigs despite the risks. Quiet determination in the face of crisis.
And that resilience created real impact:
27 pigs sold (Jan–Feb)
$1,275 in income generated
For families cut off from all other income, this wasn’t just money—it was survival, dignity, and a step toward recovery.
One farmer believed the program had ended due to the conflict. Still, he chose to continue. Today, that decision is helping his family rebuild their future.
Now, as communities return, our commitment continues.
Moving forward, we will strengthen these cooperatives to become fully self-reliant and sustainable—so that even in times of crisis, communities can stand on their own.
What would you do if your only source of income suddenly stopped?
Would you still find a way to keep going?
Stand with families rebuilding after conflict
