Due to recent events across our nation's schools, we are driven to inspire as many teens in our community as possible. Our program promotes this foundation of such idealistic principles such as self-esteem, respect, mental clarity, wellness, and leadership. All of these skills are essential to forming healthy coping skills and relationships well into adulthood. However, we cannot do this alone. We rely on the support of our community to help us thrive in order to have a profound presence.
There are currently many local students who lack Social and Emotional (SEL) learning skills, life skills, family connection and peer to peer connection. Although INSPIRE Programs mentors go into the schools on a weekly basis and continue to work diligently with the school administrators in meeting the needs of our students, some students have often seen the effects in their academic achievement and successes due to the lack of life learning skills and issues.
INSPIRE will have the opportunity to continue mentoring students on a weekly basis by helping every student find value, purpose and strength within themselves to be able to shine and become leaders with integrity within their communities. We believe this project will show a decrease in statistics of poor student academic achievements and an increase in student participation and communications to achieve academic success.
The project will assist the program to continue to provide weekly classroom mentoring in local partnered schools. It will also help INSPIRE School Programs to be implemented and expand into new inquiring local schools, helping us to reach and take on 2 more schools and increase to our student reach to another 900 students. INSPIRE will be given the opportunity to continue to celebrate every student of their academic successes in completing the program by connecting them to their local community.
