The seminar brought together experts, community members, and stakeholders to discuss sustainable water management practices, the importance of water conservation, and innovative solutions to address water scarcity. The theme, “Where Water Flows, Equality Grows,” emphasized how access to clean water can reduce inequalities, improve health outcomes, and support community development.

Alkhidmat Foundation has successfully installed 5 new water coolers at Aghosh Alkhidmat Buner, ensuring reliable access to cold and clean drinking water for the 50+ brave orphan children residing in the facility.

This initiative is part of Alkhidmat’s broader commitment to improving the living standards, comfort, and well-being of orphan children across all Aghosh Homes in Pakistan.

Story / Update

Aghosh Buner is home to over 50 brave orphan children who rely on Alkhidmat for education, shelter, care, and a nurturing environment. With rising temperatures and daily needs, access to clean and cool drinking water is essential for their health and comfort.

To improve their living conditions, Alkhidmat installed 5 high-quality water coolers in key areas across the facility, including:

• Dining hall

• Study hall

• Dormitories

• Outdoor activity area

• Prayer hall

These coolers ensure that the children have cold, safe drinking water available at all times—reducing the risk of dehydration and waterborne illnesses, especially during summer.

The children and staff expressed tremendous appreciation for this improvement, as it directly enhances daily comfort and supports a healthier lifestyle.
