January in Ucayali is a month characterized by more intense rainy climate than the rest of the year. Our work with the brothers and sisters in the affected communities by this complex climate is reduced, spending most of our time looking for new financing opportunities and especially, planning activities and results we want to achieve during the year.
Seeking to contribute to environmental education in Santa Clara Native Community , and following the horizon of building an Indigenous Permaculture School in the future, we need to work together on a very important issue: Climate changeand contribution of ancestral knowledge for resilience. In this regard, we have already begun to prepare objectives and methodologies of work with young people, so that we deepen and united against the impact of this human actions in our territories.
The objetives are directed to Protecting the forest, strengthening ancestral knowledge, reducing logging and contamination by waste and improving agricultural production systems. This work will be make with young people mainly, but also with al authorities to commit in different scales.
With your support we can do even more and better actions, son we can generate a greater impact! Join our work and be part of the change. Let's fight together for healthy, fertile and fair environment!
