Dear Supporters,
It is a journey of self-discovery that we believe helps to create better, more aware citizens. This is beneficial to so many more people than just the individual awarded the scholarship. It is beneficial to the people they will encounter and be assisting in the field, as well as a diverse number of stakeholders in their local communities - their peers, family members, teachers and future employees.
These programs show young people that the world is so much bigger than they imagined, with so many people who are in situations more difficult than their own. It helps scholars become more empathetic, more outward looking and more aware. The program will teach these students that they can carry on developing the skills that they need to carry on making a difference, as well as why it is important to be a global citizen.
In short, the skills developed, the experiences and people exposed to and the personal growth that is inevitable will impact these students for the rest of their lives.
Thank you for your continued support!
With Gratitude
