A Positive Outlook On The Future

By Tyrone Bennett | CEO of Action Change

Hello Friends and Family,

Did you know that our scholarship program is one of the hardest to fund for?

many people love to donate to a meal for a hungry child or purchase books for a local primary school. While these donations are very amazing and important we feel scholarships are just as important and can actually build a longer term sustainable way to fight all global issues we currently face.

One of the main ways in which scholarships help fund future leaders is by breaking the cycle of poverty. Many individuals from underprivileged backgrounds are unable to pursue higher education due to financial constraints, despite having the potential and the drive to succeed. Scholarships provide them with the financial means to attend college or university, or even just go on a skills training program where they can acquire the necessary qualifications and skills to secure roles in where they can infuence and lead change within their own community. This not only benefits the individual but also their families and communities, as they can contribute to the economic growth and development of their societies.

Moreover, scholarships also play a crucial role in addressing issues of hunger and food insecurity. Many individuals from impoverished backgrounds struggle to meet their basic needs, including access to nutritious food. By providing them with scholarships, these individuals can focus on their studies without having to worry about where their next meal will come from. Additionally, scholarships can also support students in pursuing degrees in fields such as agriculture and nutrition, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to address food insecurity in their communities and beyond.

In 2024 we are committed to making waves and really kick starting the future of 1,000 young people. This is a big target but we hope that as we all start to get back to normal after the last few years, that we all stand together and do something to fundraise, share our stories to bring in new donors and even help us by getting involved with mentoring a scholar, together let's raise the funds and give 1,000 young people the life line that will change the future forever!

Thank You,

Tyrone
