Joselyn is 19 years old. She has been part of the Project in El Salvador for eight years; as many of the other children she is part of the scholarship program to be able to study. During this time she has received economical support and also food supplies such as rice and beans.
Thanks to this support, her older brother also was part of Asociación Nuestros Ahijados and was able to graduate as a Profesional Math Teacher and this year, Joselyn was able to graduate from High School as the best student of her class.
This family has had many problems since the father abandoned them and never received any support from him, for this reason Asociación Nuestros Ahijados supported them with a House Construction.
Currently the older brother is working as a teacher in a Municipal School from Guazapa, he also has been a great support for them at home, with his help and the help of Asociación Nuestros Ahijados the family has been able to move forward. Joselyn’s goal is to study Psychology, even when she knows that this is something complicated to achive, she knows that it is very important to give a better future to her family.
The mother is very greatful for all the support that they had received during all these years, and she knows that if it was not for Asociación Nuestros Ahijados, she couldn’t be able to send her children to school and give them a better life.
