Educate Street Children in El Salvador

Isaac is the oldest of four children and his mother has been working hard selling tortillas to help her children to study and provide evrything they need to study and become professionals. The father never helped them and just abandoned them without giving them any kind of support.

After asking for support, Isaac was able to receive support to study as well as his siblings.  Asociaiòn Nuestros Ahijados gave them all the support they needed such as scholarships and food; so he could be a professional and help his mother to support his family. 

When Isaac was graduated from high school, he decided to go to the United States to live the "American Dream" and help his mother to support his small siblings, because he wanted to give them a better life than the one he had.  Unfurtunatelly he was caught by the immigration department in Mexico and had to return to El Salvador.  During his journey, he was suffering a lot, he didn't have anything to eat, no clothes and the people was treating him very bad.  

When he was back in El Salvador, he told his mother that he wanted to go back again to the United States because he couldn't help her at home.  He was looking for a job but since he was young no one wanted to hire him; so, he decided to go back, but he wasn't sure that he was going to be able to do it.   

Isaac was very concern on helping his mother, for that reason he continued with the idea of going to the United States and send some money to his mom.  He finally made it and now he is working there and studying as well.  He talks to them very often and he feels very happy of helping his family.  

He is very gretful with Asociaciòn Nuestros Ahijados for all the support they recieved.  They were able to have studies and food through the support of all the benefactors who beieve and trust in our mission.

The Guardado family has been a member of the Asociación Nuestros Ahijados for 10 years. The family consists of Dona Rosa, a mother and three children, Sofia, José and Manuel, the father of the home abandoned them because he had problems with alcohol and He did not contribute anything to the house, besides that he physically and psychologically abuses Dona Rosa. Doña Rosa had to work day and night to be able to cover all household expenses, she currently works to sell tortillas and care for a child, obtaining a monthly income of $ .225.00, this is the only income they have. Due to this the program of Our Ahijados, decided to enter Sofia and José to the scholarship program, receiving monthly live and financial aid. At the beginning of the admission process, it could be observed that the housing conditions were bad, they got water and cold at night, due to this and through Asociación Nuestros Ahijados they built a house to cover these needs This family has been overcome thanks to the support of the program, receive their monthly help and other benefits such as clothing and shoes, in addition to this Sofia received a dental treatment through the godmother, Dona Rosa is very grateful with all the support that is He has offered and expects to have this support for a long time to be able to continue forming his future.
