A role model for her siblings in El Salvador
At the age of 21, this young lady has been working against poverty in her country, El Salvador and specially in the community where she lives. She is her mother's support. She is the role model of her other five siblings, even when they have all the desire to get out of poverty it has been hard because they don't have thier father's support.
The young lady's mother is from Guazapa, she never had the opportunity to attend school because her parent's thought was that studies were not useful, but she worked hard day after day to support her children. Unfortunately they don't have a secure place to live and they had to move from house to house because rents are high.
When we noticed the problems that this family was going through, Asociación Nuestros Ahijados started to support them in our project in El Salvador, which consists in bringing monthly rice, beans, clothes, shoes and economical support accoriding to how they are doing at school with the mission of transforming their life and changing them to a better persons. Even though their econimic situation is not good, she continues working hard to reach all her dreams, she is working on weekinds selling beverages in a small business that the mother has. During the week she studies to be an auxiliary nurse. Her siblings also study at the village school.
The lady and all the family are very grateful with all the support that we have been giving them. Without it all their economic issues would be worse.
