Educate Street Children in El Salvador

Thanks to your support we are able to help make dreams come true for children in El Salvador like Blanca.

Blanca is currently in 5th grade at a local school in Guazapa, El Salvador. She is the oldest of 4 siblings and has grown up in the care of her grandmother since her mother couldn't afford to take care of her. Blanca's grandmother is of an advanced age and doesn't have a steady job so one of Blanca's cousins is the main economic support for the family.

Blanca is a very responsible young lady and always does her homework and also helps her grandmother around the house. Blanca says "I hope to graduate and become a teacher so that I can help my mom and live with her and my siblings again."

Blanca has been with the Asociación Nuestros Ahijados del Salvador for 6 years receiving food (rice and beans) as well as a monthly scholarship and other services that the Project provides. The family was also living in house in very poor condition so the Project also helped them with the construction of a new home.

Blanca is very happy to be a part of the project. She works hard every day to be a better person and to fight her way out of the poverty that she is currently living. She walks an hour everyday to go to school so that she can improver her situation.
