Lea and her three siblings began to receive help from the GOD'S CHILD Project in 2009 because of their lack of economic resources. Their father worked raising animals and didn't make enough to provide for his family so the GOD'S CHILD Project stepped in to make sure the children were able to continue in school by providing them with a scholarship, school supplies, clothes, shoes, and rice and beans.
Of the four siblings Lea stands out the most. After graduating as a nurse's assistant she is now going to college to become a doctor. She is not only going to school but is also working as a nurse at a private clinic in El Salvador. Unfortunately she is looking for new work opportunities because she is currently the main support for her family and earns very little. Lea is very grateful to the Project and all of our supporters for the support that they have provided her and her family. She says, "Without the help of the Project becoming a doctor and providing for my family would be an impossible dream. Thank you for helping me make my dream a reality."
Indeed, thank you for helping make Lea's and many other children's dreams a reality in El Salvador through your generous support. We hope that you will continue to support our cause by making another donation, sharing Lea's story with your friends and family, or following us on Facebook for even more updates.
With Gratitude,
Rina Lazo
