By Venkat Ramakrishnan | Project Leader
activities-cbe-09102017-1
Activating the senses and giving movement activities
to the children during their younger ages is very
helpful in development of their sensory and motor
skills and integration.
To aid this, Coimbatore school conducted various
activities for their lower grade children. Activities
included walking on a straight line while holding an
object (to maintain balance), locating the right words
in a huge collection of words and pictures, and
movements of hands in accordance to sounds and
instructions.
The children totally loved the activity as the activities
are fun, and also give work to their senses, not just
the studies that they do with their books and notebooks.
We are attaching pictures of the activity for your
view. Please let us know of any questions at

We look forward for your suggestions and feedback!

Govt. school teachers visit Villupuram school
By Venkat Ramakrishnan | Project Leader
VIL-GovtSchools-Teachers-Visit-29092017-1
After some of the Tamilnadu government schools
were adopted by Isha Vidhya, they have started
showing fantastic results - like 100% pass rate
in the public exams, greater percentage of students
attending schools regularly, etc.
To create more exposure to the government school
teachers on effective methodologies that Isha Vidhya
employs, the government school teachers (in the
schools that Isha Education has adopted in the
Villupuram area) were invited to the Isha Vidhya
school in Villupuram.
The school students took the teachers around the
school. The teachers went through the learning
materials and the digital content. They went to the
Maths and Science labs to see the facilities there.
Apart from looking at the school library, the teachers
also observed the kindergarten, computer-aided
learning and the yoga classes.
It was a great learning experience and exposure to
the teachers. They thanked the Isha Vidhya teachers
and students.
We are attaching the pictures of the visit for your view.

By Venkat Ramakrishnan | Project Leader
1-MET-APGSSP-24092017
Shares Mr. Umapathy, the lead of Andhra Pradesh
Government School Support Program:
"Karadi Path Education Company Pvt. Ltd. was founded with
the mission to ‘provide high impact low cost programs, to
deliver English proficiency to children and adults through the
indigenously developed Karadi Path methodology’. Karadi Path
in partnership with Isha Education is implementing
Karadi Path–Magic English SLL Programme for the academic
year 2017-18 in the 905 government and local body schools
in Chittor District, AP. 88 of these schools are renewal schools
implementing Karadi Path Magic English SLL Intermediate-
Level 2 programme and the remaining schools are new schools
adopting Karadi Path Magic English SLL Intermediate Level 1
programme.
Teachers from 66 Mandals were trained in Karadi Path’s Magic
English (ME) methodology and program implementation during
the training workshops conducted in various locations for 4 days
from 19-07-2017 to 22-07-2017 in 2 spells.
Initially teachers were attended the KP Training with half heart as
instructed by their HM/MEO but after completing the 2 days
training they have satisfied in all the way and learnt many things
which are useful to implement the Magic English Class at their
schools & were inspired with KP Methodology. All the teachers
Introduced them self by performing some actions. Teachers
assumed themselves as children and actively involved in all
activities and cleared their doubts in “How to create an enabling
environment for English learning in the class”. The overall
participation was good among the teachers. When asked to
perform Action Path, Miming, Expressive Reading, all the
teachers performed it with great enthusiasm. In Music path at
Somala, demonstration with some of the students gave trust
building for teachers.
Teachers said that the KP ME SLL training is mostly suitable
for the primary level children not for the upper primary or high
school students. Even though maximum number of teachers
participated were seniors and near to retirement, they have
shown great enthusiasm while doing the mock sessions and
performed the group activities for Story and Music Modules
When asked to perform Mock session they came with their
groups in front of the class and done the mock session in the
energetic manner. They themselves became children and
participated well without any hesitation.
Mr. Renith, the main trainer is really very good he handled the
training very well. He was very clear and made all the participants
to understand about our ME SLL program. Udhaya’s way of
presentation was very clear and his examples and
demonstrations helped for very good understanding. The MEO
of the Mandal also participated in training when ever time
permitted her and suggested teachers to implement the program
and reminded the role of English teachers in government schools
to create modern trend of learning."
