As we explore new ways to bring economic empowerment to the communities we serve, we are always looking for new opportunities and markets.
We are beginning the process of creating a line of higher value marula products made from the local marula oil we source from the communities we work in. Working with a young Swazi woman, we are hoping she can develop this line into a profitable venture! This benefits the women we purchase the nuts from in the communities, our staff who collect and press the oil, and the shop we keep to sell the products.
