In Uganda, poverty and social pressures force many girls to leave school early. Our campaign "Books, Classrooms, and Dreams removes financial barriers by providing school fees, uniforms, textbooks, and supplies to enable them keep in school. We also offer tutoring and scholarships to help girls succeed. With your support, 200+ girls will stay enrolled, improve literacy and numeracy, and build brighter futures through education.
Many rural families in Uganda struggle to afford school costs, causing girls to miss classes or drop out. Expenses like tuition, uniforms, books, and meals are overwhelming. Social pressures, early marriage, and gender inequality further limit opportunities. Without support, girls in rural and extremely vulnerable households face reduced literacy, fewer job prospects, and continued poverty, trapping families in a cycle that education could break.
We provide school fees, uniforms, textbooks, and stationery to remove financial obstacles enabling girls from extremely poor rural households to keep in school and acquire education. We also offer after-school tutoring and homework support strengthen academic performance and confidence. Offer scholarships enabling high-potential girls to transition to and complete secondary school. By combining financial assistance with academic support, we ensure girls not only remain in school but also thrive.
This project will keep 200+ girls in school, improve literacy and numeracy scores, and increase graduation rates. Educated girls gain skills, confidence, and career opportunities. They marry later, earn higher incomes, and reinvest in their communities. Supporting a girl's education creates lasting change, breaking the cycle of poverty for future generations.
