Through the support of our generous donors, The Girl Child Foundation Uganda continues to break down barriers that prevent vulnerable girls from accessing quality education. Many girls in rural communities face extreme poverty, making it difficult for their families to afford school fees, uniforms, textbooks, and stationery. Our project addresses these challenges by providing comprehensive educational support that enables girls to remain in school and focus on their studies.
This reporting period saw beneficiaries receive essential learning materials and financial assistance, reducing absenteeism and improving school retention. Girls who once faced the risk of dropping out are now attending classes consistently and participating actively in learning activities.
In addition, our after-school tutoring and homework support sessions have helped learners strengthen their academic performance and build confidence. Teachers have reported noticeable improvements in classroom engagement and examination results among supported girls.
Scholarships for high-performing students have continued to create pathways to secondary education, ensuring that talented girls can continue pursuing their academic goals regardless of their financial circumstances.
Your support is helping transform lives, creating opportunities for girls to complete their education and build brighter futures for themselves and their communities.
