The Girl Child Foundation Uganda continues to work tirelessly to ensure that vulnerable girls remain in school and receive the education they deserve. In many rural communities, financial hardship forces girls to miss classes or abandon their education altogether. Our project addresses these challenges through comprehensive educational support.
With donor assistance, girls received school fees, uniforms, textbooks, and essential learning materials during this reporting period. These resources have significantly reduced financial obstacles and enabled beneficiaries to attend school regularly. Families who once struggled to meet educational expenses have found renewed hope through this support.
Recognizing that academic success requires more than access to school, we also continued providing after-school tutoring and homework support. These sessions offer girls a safe and encouraging environment where they can strengthen their academic skills and gain confidence. Participants have shown measurable improvements in both classroom performance and study habits.
Scholarships remain a critical component of our work, helping high-achieving girls transition successfully to secondary education. By supporting these students, we are ensuring that financial limitations do not prevent them from reaching their full potential.
We are grateful to our donors and partners whose generosity continues to transform lives. Together, we are keeping girls in school, supporting their learning journey, and empowering them to become future leaders and change-makers in their communities.
