Education is about more than attending school; it is about equipping girls with the skills, confidence, and opportunities needed to succeed in life. Through the support of our generous donors, the Girl Child Foundation Uganda continues to help vulnerable girls not only stay in school but also thrive beyond the classroom.
During this reporting period, girls from extremely poor households received school fees support, uniforms, textbooks, and essential scholastic materials. This assistance has removed significant financial barriers and enabled beneficiaries to participate fully in their education.
Our after-school tutoring and homework support sessions remain a critical component of the project. These programs provide a safe and supportive environment where girls can strengthen their academic skills, receive mentorship, and build self-confidence. Many participants have demonstrated notable improvements in academic performance and have become more active contributors in their classrooms.
Scholarship support has also continued to open new opportunities for girls transitioning to secondary school. These scholarships ensure that talented students can continue their education regardless of their economic circumstances.
Beyond academic achievements, girls are developing leadership skills, setting ambitious goals, and becoming positive role models within their families and communities. Education is giving them the tools to dream bigger and pursue brighter futures.
We thank every donor for helping us empower girls through education. Your support is creating lasting change and enabling young women to thrive both inside and outside the classroom.
