By Tom Rosen | Co-Director/Project Manager
Firstly, I'd like to thank you for your generous donation towards this project. Without the help from supporters such as your self, we would not be able to undertake the work we do. The Cambodian Centre for the Protection of Children's Rights (CCPCR) would also like to express their gratitude.
The funds that have been raised on GlobalGiving so far have provided the girls with school fees and uniforms, pocket money for lunch and textbooks. This has all helped them along the path to a brighter future, away from the abuse that they were previously exposed to.
The importance of educating and providing a safe environment for these girls is highlighted in the following quote from Mr. Thy, the Director of CCPCR.
"The children were very happy with CCPCR shelter services and with the project staff. They feel very safe and comfortable at the shelter. The children have enough nutrition to keep them healthy and are committed to hard work for their studies. Some of the children have expressed that they want to be accountants or doctors in the future."
I hope that you continue to follow this project as it progresses and we'll be sure to keep you updated.
With sincere gratitude,
Tom Rosen and The Branch Foundation Team
Note: The Branch Foundation pursues the highest degree of care and protection for each of its beneficiaries. To protect the identity of the people on this project, names have been changed and pictures do not necessarily represent girls who have been abused or trafficked.
