Our NGO- Grace World Africa Foundation is organising a pads drive to raise 57000 pads in 57 days.As a small organization with great hopes, we want to restore women's dignity affected due to poverty. This campaign aims to keep a girl child in school through collaborative cross sector partnerships, bring to a halt school drop outs of girls who are unable to attend school and help disadvantaged women due to them not having means to provide themselves with sanitary pads.
Girls in boarding schools and mostly rural areas find it difficult for them to go to schools or drop out from schools. _High rate of teenage pregnancy. _End up being affected by incurable diseases like HIV/AIDS. _High rate of unemployment. _Poverty rate increases. _Depression also.
Keep a girl child in school will lead to the following; _High rate of passing. _Lower rate of teenage pregnancy. _restoring a woman's dignity. _Lower rate of school dropouts. __Lower rate of poverty. _Unemployment decreases. _Lower rate of being affected with incurable diseases.
The cloth pads that we are donating are reusable,eco_friendly,cost_effective and just donating to a girl child it means for the next 5 years she doesn't have to worry about buying pads. Meaning we a solving a girl's problem for the next 5 years, she can even complete her education without her having to pop out a cent to buy pads for themselves.
