Dear Friends, Supporters and Family of Serendipity Healthcare Foundation,

Remember Musa? The young boy we shared his story about his school and how through your kind donations we were able to grant scholarships to 20 children? Here are updates on the progress of those 20 children out of which 10 of them are girls in Tofa Community School in Tofa Town, Tofa Local Government Area, Kano.

Tofa Community School was built by the community members based on the premise of having a school closer home as the next available school was more than 3KLM away from the community and the children are at risk of violence and the distance is too long for them to trek. The school started with 30 pupils in 2018 and today have grown organically to over 600 pupils.

The 20 children granted scholarships which comprised of 10 females and 10 males are orphans with one or both parents dead, their parents are too poor and displaced children had never seen inside the four walls of a school and with your kind donation are attending school for the first time.

They are two terms gone into the 2023/2024 school session and the results are remarkable coming from children who have never gone to school before. And thus we say a BIG THANK YOU for your generous donations to pay for scholarship on tuition fees and school uniforms, shoes and books for a school session year.

One of our expected outcomes is to see that our children especially the girls are educated to be change makers is gradually becoming a reality for these children and we hope to see them becoming someone of benefit to their community.
