Everyone deserves to access quality health, better education, and a good job but we all know the challenges that single black mothers face daily to take care of themselves and their children. Covid 19 has even made the situation worse. Keep Hope Alive seeks to provide relief and resources to 500 single black mothers in the Fox Valley area of Wisconsin.
Despite the challenges, hard-working single black mothers remain strong. The COVID-19 pandemic underscores society's reliance on women both on the front line and at home, while simultaneously exposing structural inequalities across every sphere, from health to the economy, security to social protection. Single black mothers have the uttermost drive to improve their lives and that of their kids but access to much-needed resources has been provided to them.
Keep Hope Alive will provide single 250 black mothers necessary resources to fulfill their fundamental needs. Our nonprofit partners will provide job training and mental health support. Also, donations towards financial & educational support for kids and their mothers.
By providing single mothers with key resources to quality health, good education, and better jobs. Keep Hope Alive will enable them to thrive on their journey and reach personal, financial, and emotional independence.
