Dear our beloved donors,
As Whispers Magical Children's Hospital & Maternity, we would like to take this tremendous opportunity to say thank you so much for helping us keep our hospital open.
At Whispers Magical Children's Hospital & Maternity, we have very many services that we offer to our patients in our community and Uganda at large, some of these services are absolutely FREE of charge and some we get a small fee that helps us here at the hospital. Some of our free services include; free sickle treatment for children from 1-13 years of age every wednesday where we give them monthly refills...These refills include anti-malaria tablets, multi-vitamins and folic acid, we also immunise babies every Thursday, we do cervical cancer screening and have a free TB clinic.
We also have other services at the hospital like NICU where babies below 1 month are brought incase of illness or prematurity since we have a well equiped NICU.....Emergency ward for critically ill patients, General ward , annex ward, nutrition ward for malnourished kids and maternity ward for our expectant mothers.
We also acquired our ambulance that is helping out in the community incase of emergencies like mothers in labor that need to get to the hospital, child with burns, accidents, convulsing child, child on oxygen support, transfer of patients from one facility to another. This ambulance has been of great importance to us and the community. The wonderful news is that this ambulance is free of charge and it operates 24/7 with a toll FREE helpline for easy communication incase of emergencies.
All these sectors of the hospital have been open and working 24/7 to save lives. All this has been made possible because we have very kind, loving and generous people like you on this beautiful journey of saving lives in Uganda.
We have managed to acquire $22,336 out of $56,916 and we have $34,580 left. We believe with your support we will be able to hit our target so that we help save more lives in Uganda.
