Kiwanis Village School Center is place in where we encourage children between 3 to 18 years old in education and sports activities which will guide them to have a better development. In the school we work in groups: Children from 3 to 5 years old we introduce to basic education and children from 6 to 18 years old who attend school support classes. Around 50 children are being attended at classes and in sports activities more than 60 children from the whole community participate.
Kiwanis Village is a community that was under the gangs authority and this project has allowed the children and youth can be involved in great programs where their mind is kept busy. The kids at the school are in need in various areas. There is no other school near of the communities who attend infants as Kiwanis School and the kids population is growing fast.
Donating to this cause will help the immediate need of providing basic necessities for the children at the school such as balls and sport implements, school supplies, chairs, classroom renovations, tech supplies like computers, printers, projectors; things that will help to bring a better service and education to the children and youth at the school center.
This project will have the long term impact of improving the lives of the children and youth who have live and developed in a conflicted community by providing items that will make easier the development and the interest of not being a gang member and built a better community for their future.
