In April, Mirai no Mori's 2nd annual Leader in Training program held their first meeting in Mitake!
This year, 5 high school boys make up the new LIT members. 4 LITs attended Mirai no Mori's April weekend program, and were a great help with assisting in activities.
After the program they had the opportunity to reflect on their roles in the program and think ahead about their future roles and responsibilities.
The day after they underwent orientation, and learned about what this year's program has in store for them. They will take on even more tasks and responsibility this year, and will have a few projects that they will be completely in charge of, from the planning to execution. The LITs had their first task as a team where they made lunch together. Most of them already know each other, but this will be the first time these particular members are working together in a team.
It will be very exciting to see how the team dynamic will evolve over the course of this year.
This program has a lot to offer these high schoolers. And thanks to your support, these new LIT participants will be able to gain new experiences and learn new skills that will nuture their growth into happy young adults. Stay tuned for the next report on the LIT program in May!
