Samsungwon, the orphanage in Gumi, South Korea, recently had its three-year government review, and I'm happy to report that they successfully "passed."
However, Samsungwon is still greatly in need of new furniture for its older building, where the girls live. There are three girls houses, each home to 12 girls, ages 2 to 20. As you can imagine, things are quite cramped, and they would benefit from new bookshelves, dressers, and desk chairs. Your donations to this project will go to support these needs.
For more on the work KKOOM is doing at Samsungwon and at orphanages throughout South Korea, check out our blog. http://kkoom.org/category/blog/
