Thanks to the generosity of our GlobalGiving donors like you, the children of Samsungwon, an orphanage in Gumi, South Korea, have benefitted from new furniture for their bedrooms. Thanks to you, many of the children get to sleep in beds for the first time, and they have their own dresser drawers and wardrobes. This sense of personal, private ownership instills pride in the children and has brought a lot of smiles. When the furniture first arrived, the kids said, "Wow! It's so pretty!" and "Our room is so much better now!"
What a big difference you've made by your giving!
At this point, we don't have any more furniture projects on the horizon, so we are going to close this project to further funding on GlobalGiving. However, you can still keep in touch with us via our other projects here on GlobalGiving. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
