With this project, we will begin the construction of a fortress from medieval Bosnia, which will form an educational center as a basis for community and reconciliation among peoples in Bosnia. The medieval period represents a restart point in which Nations agreed without ethnic divisions, a period recognized by all Nations in BiH as common.
The problem we face in our local community is the lack of acceptance of the common history of all peoples in Bosnia, which is accompanied by inter-ethnic diversity caused by the civil war. The peoples are divided into national camps and do not accept territorial affiliation with Bosnia. National school education youth suggests division rather than unity, and that is the problem we want to solve.
Funds raised will build a training center which will also be an essential cultural peace center in our City. Through our training center, our volunteers and coaches will work to educate young people and the public about the common history of Bosnia.
Looking at the project for the long term, we will educate 900-1000 young people of different ages, national and religious backgrounds. Following the construction of the center, we will set up an academy to promote chivalry, dialogue of peace and tolerance. This center will become and remain a generator of positive change in the society that will serve to honor the city and the local community.
